Donald Walden: News

Donald Walden will appear with fellow great musicians, Mulgrew Miller, vibist Steve Nelson, bassist and fellow U of M professor, Bob Hurst, and percussionist Randy Gelispie on May 4 and 6. At Kerrytown Concert House in Ann Arbor, Barry Harris appears with the group replacing Mulgrew on May 5. This will be a brilliant msical event featuring this all star group who first appeared at Small's in New York City in January of this year.

Premier performance of "Middle Passage" 5 movement suite composed during last years visit to the west coas of Africa.

Four of my students at the Univ. of Michigan will be performing at the Kennedy Cntr. In Washington, D.C. in Feb.
